Week 6

                                                           Gym
This week in gym we had kind of gymnastics. There was 5 different stations. The stations were jumping, balancing, swinging with ropes, rings and jumping from "plint to" plint". It was a very fun lesson but there was a lot of people that were talking. The average rating in the class on the lesson was 4.31 but we think that it should have been lower.

WOODWORK AND SEWING
IN WOODWORK WE MADE PICTURE BY DRAWING ON A PEICE OF WOOD AND THEN CARVING OUT EVERYTHING IN BETWEEN THE LINES THAT WE DREW WHEN WE STARTED. WHEN YOU WERE FINISHED WITH THAT PROJECT YOU HAVE TO MAKE A WOODEN SPOON AND THING THAT YOU USE IN THE KITCHEN.

IN SEWING WE WERE FINISHING UP THE WORK THAT WE STARTED WITH ABOUT A WEEK AGO. THE FIRST THING WE MADE WAS PILLOWS. YOU COULD MAKE THE PILLOWS IN DIFFERENT SIZES. WE HAVE ALSO HAD A SUBSITUTE FOR THE LAST 3 WEEKS WITH THE NAME OF EMMA.

We showed our buddies the posters that we made. The inventors that we had is Martin Cooper, James Naismith, Bill Gates, Thomas Edison, Percy Spencer, Henry Ford, Steve Jobs, Nikola Tesla, Tim Berner-Lee, Bartolomeo Cristofori, Nils Ivar Bohlin, Justus Von Liebig, Godtfred Christiansen, Alan Turning, Gertrude B. Elion, John Lodge Braid, Sir Alexander Fleming, Sergey Brin, Nicolas Joseph, Anders Celcius, and Nicéphore Niépce. We thought it was very fun showing our buddies the presentations that we made.

                                                Kobe Meat
Kobe meat is the worlds most expensive meat. To be able to be called Kobe meat it has to come from a Japanese steer of the black Tajima-gu breed. The age should be in between 28 to 60 months old to harvest but the average age is 30 to 32 months. In the Japanese farms they treat these cows like kings. The meat comes from the back of the cow. There is a strict protocol that the cow has to pass to be aloud to be called Kobe meat, only 3000 pass every year. This meat has just come to Sweden in a restaurant AG in kungsholmen. It most 2000-5000 kr per kilo, at the restaurant they serve 200 grams of Kobe meat for 1895 kr.

                                                              AVERAGE RATINGS

This week we started working with averages. At the end of every lesson we would rate how good the learning and working environment was. Every student would get a yellow sticky note where we would rate the lesson between 1-5. We would find the average of the lesson by adding all the rates together and then dividing it by the number of students who voted. Then after we have rated every lesson by the learning and working environment we would add all the lessons together and get an average of the day.

                                                                                                                          Class Trip Vote
This week we voted on where we want to go on our class trip in 6th grade. Alex's mum came to our class to talk to us about the options we could vote on. We had two options and they were Gotland and Kloten. In Kloten it is like an outdoor obstacle course. Gotland was similar but we would do other things as well like, go swimming, hiking and some indoor activity.
